Putting a hold on xna7day until DBP is over
Posted by David Amador in Announcements on February 8, 2010
This week I didn’t received any entries for this week’s challenge, instead I received 3 ou 4 emails mentioning the Dream Build Play deadline being so close. Which I agree since I’m trying to do something to compete as well. So in order to respect everyone’s projects I’m putting a hold on the challenges until DPB deadline. Also because having challenges week after week with no one having the time is not what this is about. A challenge is then scheduled to March 6.
This date can be moved by popular demand of course. Any questions please contact me to contact@xna7day.com
Under new management but same rules

Hi! My name is David Amador and I’ll be in charge of xna7day from now on. Nick Gravelyn handed me xna7day in order to keep it alive because it was getting hard for him to maintain this due to professional reasons.
The idea isn’t to make any radical change and same rules still apply (see them here), being the bottom line making xna games in 7 days with a theme or rule.
The email for sending the entries/ideas/help is still contact@xna7day.com
Is anyone interested in starting this weekend? I know it’s kind of over time but if there’s someone please let me know. If not we shall regain the normal cycle on 31/01/2010
Suggestions for themes/rules are appreciated.
Theme suggestions

Hello XNA developers. I’m looking to gather up some suggestions for future challenges. I have a couple I’ve thought of, but I want your feedback so that the challenges are more fun for you guys. So if you have any ideas for theme ideas or things you’d like to try, leave a comment below and let me know!
Taking a week off
Posted by Nick in Announcements on November 17, 2009
Because next week is the week of Thanksgiving here in the United States, I’ve decided to move Challenge #3 to the following week (the week of November 29-December 6). Apologies for our foreign participants who were eagerly awaiting the next challenge, but since a lot of stateside developers will be busy with family and holiday things, I figured we’d see the best turn out if Challenge #3 waited an extra week.
Thanks, and we’ll see you next week!
